History

This 2 day lifestyle event was born out of the fact that concert tickets are becoming more expensive, so the concept was to help bring great acts together in a festival setting for a very reasonable ticket price. We wanted to create a family-oriented event with multiple food vendors, interactive games plus great music.

Three year’s ago, Miller Lite stepped up as the charter sponsor to launch the inaugural Miller Lite Crawfish Boil in 2006. The first year featured Staind, Dark New Day, Puddle of Mudd, Live and drew 15,000 people.

Last year, in its 2nd year, the Miller Lite Crawfish Boil drew over 23,000 people to see such acts as Hinder, Papa Roach, Seether, Cheap Trick, and Collective Soul.

The 2008 musical line-up continues to bring world-class music to Jackson. This year’s line-up includes multi-platinum and local artists 3 Doors Down, plus Good Charlotte, Gavin DeGraw, T-Pain, Finger Eleven, Candlebox, plus many other great acts.
